A phone in your hand
Pull out a holographic phone in the world: a home screen, apps, messages, a store and notifications you can tap. HoloOS runs in-game, no mod needed.
Give yourself one with the command, or open it on a wall.
Claim land, build with a team and trade with real players. Then cross into the sculk world, where a living horde is growing, and fight it before it grows up.
In the sculk world a Gravemind is growing. Its nodes spread sculk block by block and send units after anyone nearby. Every number on this board is read from the server.
An A.I. has taken root in the sculk world. It built a citadel, seeded twelve nodes around it, and it has been manufacturing machines ever since. Every number on this board is read from the server.
…
Colossi abroad: …
Cross into the red and the screen says INFECTED ZONE: please turn back for your safety. You can silence it with /sculk warnings off. The ground in there is fully taken, and standing on it keeps you infected.
Every level closer to the citadel gives the machines +35% health, +25% damage and another level of Protection and Sharpness. Level 5 is at its walls, in netherite.
Twelve nodes ring the citadel. Each keeps a squad of eight that wakes when you come near. Kill the squad, then the core: 300 health, 15 a pickaxe hit, 30 with netherite.
Where machines walk, clean ground catches a film of sculk, and machines can rise from it. Break it or purify it within three days, or the patch erupts and may become a new node.
Come within 130 blocks and level-5 machines pour out without pause, up to 36 on each player, and Colossus Prime rises at the gate. Nothing you place inside the walls stays standing.
Four phases. Between them a firewall holds until four relay pylons are broken. Under a quarter health it starts the Extinction Protocol: 90 seconds to finish it, or every node comes back.
Nodes take root 150 to 600 blocks from players. Get within 48 blocks of one and its boss bar shows up.
A node has 300 health. A pickaxe hit on the core does 15, a netherite pickaxe 30. Kill it and the horde loses a quarter of its mass.
A purifier cleanses sculk for 48 blocks around it. A purification flask clears a 5-block splash and burns any unit in it.
An Immature horde raids: scouts first, then waves of ten. Claimed bases are besieged, never razed. Repel a raid and the horde loses a tenth.
A defeated horde reseeds after two hours. It always comes back.
Kill the Director and every node dies with it. The horde reseeds after two hours; the Director restores itself from backup after seven days.
Every one of these is a real model in the game, drawn here from the same files. Some leap, some blink behind you, some hack your hotbar, and the duelists strafe, jump-crit, block and eat golden apples like a player would.

The A.I. that is taking the server. It sits in the throne room at the top of the citadel and wakes when someone walks in.
Building-sized. Each stride shakes your screen, each attack is telegraphed and then sends a wave through the ground. One of each at most, two abroad at a time. /sculk shake off if the camera shake isn't for you.

Everything to one scale. The grey figure at the top left is you. Scroll sideways.
Tier 1 is everywhere there is infection. Tier 4 only stands at the citadel. Every threat level closer adds health, damage and enchantments on top of what you see here.
The survival world exactly as the server renders it: about 17,000 blocks across so far, snowfields in the north, badlands in the south, ocean in between. Pick your spot before you log in.

Spawn is protected. One command throws you somewhere wild and unclaimed.
Found a valley worth keeping? Set a home and you can always get back to it.
Claimed land can't be broken into or looted by other players, and the horde can't infest it.
Nothing is minted for free. Every coin is earned by a job, a sale or a deal, so what you build is worth something to other people.
Mining, farming, hunting and building all pay. Pick the work that matches how you already play.
List anything and bid on what other players bring to market.
Open a shop at your base and set a warp so buyers can reach it from anywhere.

Between the claims and the trade there is a lot running here that a vanilla world doesn't have. Some of it you won't find on another server at all.

Not if you claim it. The horde lives in the sculk world and never infests claimed land. A raid on a claimed base fights the players in it but breaks nothing inside the claim.
